17-Year-Old Arrested for Making Graffiti
Sixth Precinct, Selden on October 22, 2018 at approximately 4:55 p.m.

Suffolk County Police today arrested a teenage male who spray painted a swastika inside of a Centereach department store on October 9.

The teenage male entered Target, located at 265 Pond Path, on October 9, at approximately 8:20 p.m. and spray painted a swastika on shelving inside the store.

After an investigation by detectives and with help from the public, the male, 17, of Mount Sinai, was arrested today and charged with Making Graffiti. He was processed at the Sixth Precinct in Selden and was released on bail. He will be arraigned at a later date.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the men who spray-painted a swastika in Centereach earlier this month.

Two men entered Target, located at 265 Pond Path, on October 9, at approximately 8:15 p.m. and spray painted a swastika on shelving inside the store. The men fled in a black pickup truck.
