Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and East Hampton Town Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who committed two burglaries in East Hampton this week.

A man burglarized two homes on Sammys Beach Road on January 30. The man burglarized the first home at approximately 5 p.m., and the second home a short time later. The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall to 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing a dark-colored face mask, a black hooded jacket and blue hooded-sweatshirt with a light blue logo on the left chest area. Proceeds from the burglaries include a nickel-plated Remington pump-action shotgun and a large silver Bowie knife.
